INSTRUCTOR CLASSES

Fundamentals of Instructor Training:

Must be 17 years of age or older to enter this class. Course introduces American Red Cross History, structure and activities.Instruction on assigning tasks, summarizing, and presentation skills. How to facilitate discussions and manage small task groups.

COST:$11.00

Wednesday June 4 8 AM to 11 AM

 

FA and CPR/AED Instructor:

Prerequisite: Participants must be at least 17 years old, possess a Fundamentals of Instructor Training Certification, and successfully pass the complete pre-course session which includes skills testing and a written test.

Pre-Course Content: Participants must successfully complete the written pretest exam and skills evaluation in order to continue into the instructor course. Participants will be evaluated on adult, child, and infant cardiac and breathing emergency skills, AED skills, and first aid skills.

Instructor Course Content: Includes information and teaching suggestions to help the following basic level courses: Adult CPR, Infant CPR, Child CPR, AED, First Aid or any combination of those components.

Cost: $95.00 Includes Instructor Manual and Participant Text

Wednesday and Thursday June 4 and 5 Start immediately after the FIT class and continue to 4 PM each day. Start at 8 AM.
     

 

Must attend all evenings to become certified.

 

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Instructor:

Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Instructor Course.

Course Content: Trains instructor candidates to teach how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants, two rescuer CPR, and use of breathing barriers and bag valve masks.

Cost: $45.00 Includes Instructor Manual and Participant Text. 

This would be an add-on to FA/CPR/AED Instructor class if there is any interest.
